Austin Speed Shop built a 1951 Mercury for Jesse James that is currently featured on the cover of Rod and Custom magazine. For those of you that don’t know, Rod and Custom is one of the oldest car magazines that’s still in print. Make sure to pick up a copy and check it out!

Imagine driving home from the daily grind- Traffic is wearing you a little thin, the sun is at that point where it’s in your eyes but the visor wont block it, you haven’t eaten in a while. Traffic lets up a little and you think you’re home-free. That’s when you look in your rear-view mirror and see Billy Powell hammering the throttle on his ‘36 3 window and drifting over to the next lane to pass. He’s smiling. His day could’ve been awesome. It could’ve been bad. But he knows that his drive home is always gonna rule…
