Rescued!

As you may or may not know we have a new employee down here at the shop. The story about how he got here is best told by Rocco’s wife…
——————————
As I was driving home from dance class a couple of weeks ago, I glimpsed a
dog running dangerously close to traffic out of the corner of my eye. I
caught up with him again after pulling what was probably a very illegal
u-turn only to discover he had no collar and no tags. What he did have was
love and sweetness in abundance, covering me with kisses and wagging his
tail. I brought him to Town Lake in the hopes that either his owner or a
new family would take him home. Well, no one claimed him, and Town Lake
couldn’t keep him due to overcrowding, so off Rocco and Bob went to fill
out the adoption paperwork. It’s our pleasure to introduce you to the
newest member of the Austin Speed Shop team: Bo Diddley!

Many, many thanks to everyone at ASS for helping to take care of this
little guy.
——————————
We’re glad to have him around! He’s pretty special, there are plenty of happy, loving little guys just like Bo waiting for good homes so please go to http://www.humanesociety.org or visit your local animal shelter. For more pics click below..
Virtual Scrapbook
Posted by: Austin Speed Shop on 07/15/2010
I was cleaning up files on our shop computer the other day and came across a few folders loaded with random pictures from the last few years. I thought it would be nice to share some of the brief moments that were captured. Whether it’s a car that passed through here or a group of friends having fun, all of them remind me of how great this place is to be around. If you’re ever in town, stop by and say hi, we look forward to it!
