Flavor
By Austin Speed Shop | May 7, 2010

The story behind this car was told recently on the West Coast ChoppersĀ blog. You might want to check it out, as this is an extension of that story…
It’s 3:00 pm. Everyone in the shop is in the zone, focused on their work. A large red car hauler pulls into the parking lot. Work slows for a minute. The guys are drawn to the front of the shop, peeking through the gate as the truck driver opens the trailer. It’s packed full of Ferrari’s and Maybach’s which will get moved out of the way so we can get to the real treasure… Jennifer’s ‘66 T-Bird. During that time Jennifer shows up. She’s well composed, but several emotions cross her face at the sight of the car descending the loading ramp. The next 30 minutes are spent taking pictures and generally ooh-ing and ahh-ing over the paint. It’s exquisite. It’s not just a color. You can almostĀ taste it. It’s a flavor. This build is really special, and we can’t wait to see it through.
