Stitchin’ in Tradition

By Austin Speed Shop | October 14, 2008

It began with a call from Doc in Louisiana.  He bought the Silva Speed Special and wanted a Fat Lucky’s Interior STAT!

This model A had to be delivered to the Goodguys show in Ft. Worth, Texas in a month.  That’s a tall order for an upholstery job like this.  The Austin Speed Shop crew got right to work, cutting, sewing, chopping garnish moldings, making floor panels, polishing stainless and so on.  It was a challenging deadline to say the least, but we finished and delivered on time to a very happy client.  Check it out…

Custom made polished stainless strips adorn the headliner and package tray complimenting the toffee brown leather with perfection.

The aluminum bomber bench seat was made by Frank in Colorado.

Built by Kevin Silva, this is one classic and tasteful looking hot rod.
